Great Guana Cay is one of the most peaceful islands in the Bahamas, with serene beaches and a very tranquil and informal atmosphere.
You can go fishing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, sea glass hunting and strolling on the beautiful white beaches.
When you feel hungry or thirsty, the three local seaside establishments are open from early in the morning until late at night. It’s perfectly safe and everything is within walking distance. Some people prefer to rent a golf cart to see all the sights the island has to offer.
The famous bar “Nippers Bar & Grill” with an airconditioned inside restaurant is only a couple of minutes walk on the beach path from the houses.
A five minute walk through the settlement takes you to “Grabbers Bar & Grill”. You may want to stop for refreshments at “Pirates Cove” on the way.
